  • Vehicle was dropped off and the battery was dead. Tech had to use the jumper pack to jump start the vehicle to bring vehicle in. Tech tried to charge the battery, but the battery could not hold a charge. Called customer and told them what was going on with the vehicle and where we have to start. the customer gave me the okay and to move forward with the battery. Tech put in a new battery and the check engine light was on. Tech did a full system scan. 2B5B- Air-mass sensor, 2786- Additional mixture adaptation, 2970- Idle-speed control in homogeneous mode, 2FF6- Vehicle speed, signal. The vehicle also had multiple footwell module codes. When the vehicle was off the fuel pump stayed on. The tech diagnosed the vehicle further and found that the footwell module was spliced and re-wired completely different. The Tech also found a leak under the intake manifold. Spoke with the customer and explained over the phone and what the tech found. The customer did not want to go forward with the other repairs at this time.
