- Tech drove car and repeated the noise about the customer complaint. tech verified where the noise was coming from. Tech pointed out that the noise was coming from the transmission. Tech requested to do a drain & refill first. Spoke with the customer and asked if the transmission service was ever done before customer replied no. Told customer that we will have to start off with a drain & refill on the transmission to see if that will help with the noise that is going on with the transmission. customer gave us the okay and to go forward with the transmission service. Tech did the transmission service and drove the call after and the noise is still there. customer did not want to go forward with anything else at this time.
