- Tech test drove vehicle before setting the vehicle on the lift. The tech did not hear or notice anything when test driving the vehicle. The tech got back to the shop and set the vehicle on the lift and inspected all of the suspension in the front of the vehicle to inspect the customers complaint. The tech did find anything unsafe with the suspension on the vehicle. Everything seems to be fine with the front suspension components. The tech did notice that the belt on the vehicle was not in great condition at all and the tech recommends to replace the belt and the belt tensioner. Service writer spoke with the customer over the phone and explained that the front suspension is fine as of right now, but the vehicle will need a new belt and belt tensioner. The customer did not want to go forward with the repairs at this time and will pick the vehicle up the way it is with the belt.
